Itinerary

  • 9:00 am: Pickup from your hotel in Miraflores and begin the city tour with a panoramic visit through Lima’s modern districts. Along the way, see the famous Huaca Pucllana, an important pre-Hispanic archaeological site located in Miraflores.
  • 9:30 am: Continue towards the Historic Center of Lima, passing through the Paseo de la República and arriving at Plaza San Martín, one of the city’s most important historic squares.
  • 10:00 am: Walk through Plaza Mayor of Lima and admire some of the city’s most representative colonial and republican buildings, including the Government Palace, Municipal Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, and Cathedral Basilica.
  • 10:45 am: Visit the Convent of San Francisco and its Catacombs. Explore the historic church and its underground crypts while learning about Lima’s colonial history.
  • 11:45 am: Visit the Central Reserve Bank Museum, home to collections of ceramics, textiles, gold, and other objects from different pre-Columbian cultures.
  • 12:30 pm: Continue to Barranco, Lima’s traditional bohemian and artistic district. Walk through its historic streets and visit the Paseo Chabuca Granda and the Puente de los Suspiros, one of Barranco’s best-known landmarks.
  • 1:15 pm: Continue to the Ermita de Barranco and Plazuela Chabuca Granda, where you can see the monument dedicated to the famous Peruvian composer.
  • 1:45 pm: Finish the visit at the Catalina Recavarren Viewpoint, with views of the Bajada de los Baños and the Pacific Ocean.
  • 2:00 pm: Return to your hotel in Miraflores and finish the tour.
