How long is the Lima City Tour and Barranco?
The tour takes approximately 4 hours, including transportation and visits to the main attractions.
What time does the tour start?
There are usually two daily departures, at approximately 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Where does the tour start?
Hotel pickup is available from selected hotels in Miraflores.
What places will we visit?
The tour includes Miraflores, Huaca Pucllana, the Historic Center of Lima, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, San Francisco Church and Catacombs, the Central Reserve Bank Museum, and Barranco.
Will we enter Huaca Pucllana?
No. Huaca Pucllana is visited from the outside as part of the panoramic route.
Can I visit the San Francisco Catacombs?
Yes. The tour includes entrance to the San Francisco Church and its famous underground catacombs.
What will we see in Lima’s Historic Center?
You will visit Plaza San Martín and Plaza Mayor and see important buildings such as the Government Palace, Municipal Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, and Lima Cathedral.
What will we visit in Barranco?
The tour includes some of Barranco’s main landmarks, including the Bridge of Sighs, Bajada de los Baños, Chabuca Granda area, and viewpoints overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes. The tour is suitable for families and children, although some walking is required.
How much walking is involved?
The tour involves approximately 3 km of walking, mostly through the Historic Center and Barranco. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
What should I bring?
Are meals included?
No. Meals, drinks, and personal purchases are not included.
Is the tour shared or private?
The standard service uses shared tourist transportation. Private service may be available upon request.
Can I book the tour for the afternoon?
Yes. The tour normally has both morning and afternoon departures, subject to availability.
What happens if the tour runs longer than expected?
The schedule is approximate and can vary depending on traffic, museum operating times, and the pace of the group.
Can I be picked up outside Miraflores?
Pickup outside the standard service area may be possible depending on the location and availability. Please confirm your hotel address when booking.
